How this desk treats a claim

Allegation, evidence, official finding, and analytical conclusion are four different things. The desk names which one it is looking at.

No fabricated URLs, document numbers, court cases, quotes, or government records. If a document cannot be located, the file says DOCUMENT NOT LOCATED.

A person is not declared guilty unless a final judicial finding is quoted and attributed. Naming someone is not a finding.

The desk never says “no evidence exists.” It says none was located in the sources searched. Missing records leave the working label UNDER INVESTIGATION.

Ten reprints of one sentence remain one source. Specificity, screenshots, and famous names do not raise a truth score by themselves.

The watch desk looks first for Facebook posts, Reels, Pages and Groups. A URL is stored only if live search returned it. Ten shares of one post remain one source. Watch items do not become case files until someone opens them.

Wording that is opinion, prediction, or rumour is not investigated as if it were a fact. Legal analysis is informational. It is not advice.

A figure found in one tender database is reported as identified in that database. It is not converted into a lifetime total unless a primary official lifetime figure is located. Duplicate reprints of one award remain one award.

Every live search is stored so the desk can show what it asked. A new investigation still goes out to the public web. Reuse, if it happens, is labelled. It is not new corroboration.

On every question the desk queries named public services (Wikipedia, Indian Kanoon, Google News, regional papers, official registers). Open-web engines that refuse the desk are marked blocked. Model live search is used only when that provider is available. Every stored URL was returned by one of those services. A search hit is not an official finding.
