Paste a claim
Anyone can paste a claim, headline, circulating post or URL. That opens a check. You do not pick a category.

We search the public record
The desk searches encyclopaedias, scientific pages, court records, news and official registers live, then fetches what it finds. Only URLs those services actually returned are stored. Nothing is invented to fill a gap.

A simple verdict
The reader-facing result is one of: TRUE, FALSE, MISLEADING, UNPROVEN, or UNDER INVESTIGATION. The investigation can be complicated. The verdict is not.

Share the verdict
Every published check has a stable /myth/… address. Share the verdict, not a rumour. The file can be updated later without changing that address.
